Kopač Mrak: The transnational cooperation for the prevention of undeclared work

Minister of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities dr. Anja Kopač Mrak yesterday in Zagreb attended the Ministerial Roundtable on undeclared work. She emphasized the importance of combating the informal economy and presented legislative innovations in the field of regulation of undeclared work that Slovenia is preparing.

Thus she spoke about the draft amendments to the Prevention of Undeclared Work and Employment Act, about the proposal of the new Labour Inspection Act, as well as the proposals for the regulation of student's work. She also highlighted the importance of cross-border cooperation of the relevant state institutions in each country as one of important tools to suppress undeclared work.


The Ministerial Roundtable that was hosted by Croatian Minister of Labour and Pension System Mirando Mrsić was also attended by the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion László Andor and the ministers of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Austria, Germany and Poland.
