Slovenia is progressing at child rights

In the past days a new KidsRights Index was published, this index is made by international organisation KidsRights and Erasmus University Rotterdam. The yearly report shows which countries are best at adhering and improving child rights.

This years report shows that Norway (1), Iceland (2) and Portugal (3) are the best. Slovenia took 10th place, which is better than the last two indexes – in 2017 we were 12th, and the year before 25th.

At the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities we are delighted that the conditions of adhering and improving child rights in Slovenia are getting better. We will also continue to strive to ensure that our children receive the best possible protection and care in the future.
